BDC News

Mumbai, March 21 Singer Kanika Kapoor, who tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Friday, has been facing some serious back-lashes and criticism for hiding her travel history from authorities and now because of his intentional or un-intentional mistake many people including public figures and politician have been tested positive for Covid-19.

Yesterday news broke out that singer Kanika Kapoor has been tested positive for Covid-19, and the singer also issued a statement confirming the same but before doing so she attended numerous high-profile functions and events in Lukhnow and Mumbai, which has not resulted well for people who attended the same function, including politician Vasundhara Raje and her son, who came in contact with the singer.

Vasundhara Raje tweeted, “While in Lucknow, I attended a dinner with my son Dushyant & his in-laws. Kanika, who has unfortunately tested positive for #Covid19 was also a guest. As a matter of abundant caution, my son & I have immediately self-quarantined and we’re taking all necessary precautions.”

Kanika Kapoor is being criticized and slammed for neglecting government protocol about travel history, proper covid-19 scanning and putting public health at risk.

Sharing about her own predicament, Kanika Kapor shared a post, “Hello everyone, For the past 4 days I have had signs of flu, I got myself tested and it came positive for Covid-19. My family and I are in complete quarantine now and following medical advice on how to move forward. Contact mapping of people I have been in touch with is underway as well. I was scanned at the airport as per normal procedure 10days ago when I came back home, the symptoms have developed only 4 days ago. At this stage I would like to urge you all to practice self isolation and get tested if you have the signs. I am feeling ok, like a normal flu and a mild fever, however we need to be sensible citizens at this time and think of all around us. We can get through this without panic only if we listen to the experts and our local, state and central government directives. Wishing everyone good health. Jai Hind ! Take care, KK”

Kanika Kapoor has provided vocals to the songs Baby Doll, Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan, Chhil Gaye Naina and Da Da Dasse.
