Who Are the Three Women Who Complete Kareena Kapoor Khan?

 

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is an idol for many reasons. Besides being outspoken and living life on her own terms, the gorgeous actress epitomises a sense of style and class that very few of her peers in the industry can boast of. And on International Women’s Day, while promoting her upcoming film on gender roles, Ki and Ka, the actress reveals the source of her true strength by giving due credit to the three women in her life who complete her as a person. 
The first person she remembers is of course her mother Babita Kapoor. She says, “For me, my mother is like God. She is literally, the person I pray to. She is the sunshine and the oxygen in my life.” Sister Karisma is a close second, “She’s my older sister, but I think I kind of bully her sometimes. I fire her, and I also give her advice. But eventually, she’s the person I have grown up aspiring to be. Even the way she conducted herself back in the 90s – she was a very private actor – was inspiring.”
But surprisingly, Bebo has found true inspiration to balance her family and professional life from her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore . She says, “She is the ultimate actor in the film industry. She’s a living legend. I also look up to her for the way she has lived her life and brought up her three children. She has been an amazing wife and mother. I aspire to strike that balance in my life.”
