Not too long ago, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra were considered rivals, a fact only validated by them taking potshots at each other on public forum. In Koffee With Karan, Kareena once wondered where Priyanka Chopra’s accent comes from to which PeeCee later retorted that it came from the same place her (Kareena’s) boyfriend (Saif) gets it from. Things have changed now. Kareena has settled in her marriage while PeeCee is making waves globally with Quantico. At a recent promotional event, when asked about the rise and rise of PeeCee in Hollywood, Kareena surprised everyone with an unusually warm response. ‘I really, really respect Priyanka for having the zest… She is a global icon and probably the only mainstram actress who has taken India and put it on the (global) map.
