Celebrity hairstylist Asgar Saboo shares his DIY advice on nailing PeeCee’s chic top knot.
Twisted topknots aren’t just for the gym. This style is big on the catwalks and easy for you to recreate at home.
A high knot should sit flat and not too far back on the head. The hair in the back must be completely smooth, and every part of the hairline should be brushed straight upward. Pull all of your hair upward, making sure the back is tight and smooth. Secure with a small band. Back comb the ponytail for more volume is desired. Once you’re done, twist the hair into a circular shape around the elastic. Secure the bun with hairpins. Once you have your topknot secured, mist your palms with hairspray and gently rub them over your hair, especially near the hairline, to bring out your natural baby hair.
And voila!
