Mumbai, Nov 6 (IANS) Actor Aditya Seal, who made his debut with the controversial film “Ek Chhotisi Love Story”, says he wants to stay away from the erotic genre and he is not okay with selling sex through films.
Aditya told IANS: “Erotica is not something I am looking forward to. The way it comes across is like we are trying to sell sex, which doesn’t appeal to me. If it is conveyed beautifully, then I am on for it. If you are trying to sell sex, then I am not okay with it.”
The actor, who will be soon seen in “Tum Bin 2”, says he wants to portray a negative role on the big screen.
Aditya said: “I would love to do a negative role. I would love to do something like ‘Baazigar’ or ‘Darr’. Those kind of negative roles are something that I am really looking forward to play.”
“Tum Bin 2” is the second instalment of “Tum Bin”, written and directed by Anubhav Sinha.
Talking about his experience of working with Sinha, he said: “He is great to work with. He knows how to extract your potential and he is a task master. He knows exactly what he wants from his actors.”
Shot in Scotland, “Tum Bin 2” will hit the screens on November 18.
