Aishwarya Rai Looks Resplendent in Red in a New Still From Sarabjit!

 

After Aishwarya Bachchan was snapped some weeks ago in her totally de-glam avatar, looking all haggard and worn out as Dalbir Kaur, Sarajbit Singh’s sister in Omung Kumar’s upcoming film, the makers have now revealed a brand new still of the beautiful actress dressed in a red salwar kameez, looking totally ravishing and beautiful beyond words.
As soon as the photo was posted on Twitter, #Sarbjit started trending on the micro-blogging website. Aishwarya plays the role of Sarabjit’s sister Dalbir Kaur, while Randeep will be seen in the titular role. Sarbjit has been shot in various cities of Punjab including Amritsar, Malerkotla and Patiala. Sarabjit Singh died after a brutal attack by jail inmates in a Pakistani jail in 2013. He was convicted of terrorism and spying by a Pakistani court and sentenced to death in 1991 but the government had stayed his execution for an indefinite period in 2008. His sister and family started a campaign for his release saying he was the victim of mistaken identity and had unintentionally strayed across the border in an inebriated condition. The film, slated for release on May 20 this year, also stars Richa Chadha and Darshan Kumaar in important roles.
