Mumbai, Aug 12 (IANS) On his mother Teji Bachchan’s 102nd birth anniversary on Friday, megastar Amitabh Bachchan called her the “most beautiful woman on the planet”.
The 72-year-old “Piku” star shared some old photographs of him and and his mother.
“Mother’s birthday…12th August…the most beautiful woman on the planet,” Big B tweeted on Friday.
Teji, who was married to legendary poet Harivanshrai Bachchan, was a social activist. She died at the age of 93 on December 21, 2007, after a prolonged illness.

Gulshan high on festival journey of ‘Badman’
Veteran actor Gulshan Grover, whose web movie “Badman” has been nominated at the Festival of Globe, Silicon Valley, US, says it has given him a new high.
The movie features Gulshan in the lead role, and is aired on Viacom18’s digital platform Voot.
“‘Badman’ in a film festival gives me a high that I have never felt before, although I have been with many films to festivals. Festival appreciation of this crazily entreating film where I am the hero, would take digital entertainment to a new level,” Gulshan said in a statement.
Gulshan, along with Viacom18’s Chief Operating Officer Gaurav Gandhi, will be representing the film and answering queries by the media and audience at the fest.
Directed by Soumik Sen, the web movie also has actor Chunky Pandey playing a negative role. The web-film also features cameos by veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, ace choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan, director Shoojit Sircar and actress Manisha Koirala.

Nazia back to work after Greece sojourn
Actress Nazia Hussain recently flew off to Greece to get refreshed. Now, she is back to shooting for the sequel to the 2006 film “Tom Dick and Harry”.
“Life had become hectic. Before shooting, I wanted to rejuvenate myself. Hence, I took this break with my best friend. I am glad that I did because I feel a lot fresher and good,” Nazia said in a statement.
She enjoyed her vacation in end of July.
