March 24, 2018 marked an important day in the country’s  history as people young and old heeded the call of students to the March for Our Lives rallies across the nation and globe. While an estimated million protesters took to the streets in the nation’s capital, Massachusetts had it’s own share of energized crowds gathering in several cities. Thousands of protesters congregated today at the Boston Commons and the Worcester City Hall, with prominent leaders like Senator Warren and passionate students speaking to the crowds. Al-Hamra Academy families joined the movement at both locations.
