Find out what happened
These days, a film’s journey is not complete until it gets into trouble with the CBFC!
The latest film to go down that road is UnIndian, which comes as no surprise to us since the movie seems to be a blend of western and Indian culture and was bound to include controversial scenes. According to news, CBFC had asked to tone down the lovemaking scenes between the leads actors Brett Lee and Tannishtha Chatterjee.
A leading daily also stated that producer-director Anupam Chopra was on board with Pahlaj Nihalani’s decision and voluntarily offered to edit the scene. The scene that was asked to be edited out was a lovemaking scene with the backdrop of spiritual chants “Om Shreem Hreem”. So, the sequence will now be shown without actually displaying the act itself.
