Deepika Padukone proves yet again that she is the reigning queen of Bollywood! The Bajirao Mastani actress is not only on top her social media game, having the highest number Instagram followers, but the buzz says that she might even be the highest paid actress. And rightly so!
Miss Padukone is allegedly getting paid around INR 11 crores plus taxes for her upcoming film Padmavati! The actress has also surpassed Kangana Ranaut, who was previously known to be the highest paid actress in B-town. DP has managed to amaze the audience with every performance she undertakes and truly deserves all the glory coming her way.
The Ram Leela actress has established herself as one of the leading ladies of Bollywood, which evidently explains her skyrocketed pay cheques. The actress was supposedly paid close to INR 1 crore for her first film with the ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, which means that her pay is 11 times what it was back in 2014!
However, rumours say that SLB is not too happy with Dippy’s disclosure about her pay and would’ve liked for things to be quieter. The director doesn’t even like his casting list to be out before time, so we can understand why he would be annoyed with the news about the remuneration doing rounds.
According to news, Bhansali has even told the actress to keep quiet about this matter. Nevertheless, Dippy will start shooting for this grand project next month. And if the rumours are true, then her business team is in for a treat.
