Eagerly waiting for Kareena, Saif's baby: Karisma

Mumbai, Aug 23 (IANS) Actress Karisma Kapoor says Bollywood’s famous Kapoor clan is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her sister Kareena Kapoor Khan’s first child with Saif Ali Khan. Asked about Kareena’s pregnancy, Karisma said: “Well, I think it’s happy news for all of us out there. We are also eagerly waiting (for the baby) as a family.”
The actress spoke on the sidelines of the launch of Amy Billimoria’s festive collection.
Wearing an off-shoulder outfit from the designer’s collection, the Fiza actress gave tips about fashion and style. “Honestly, I feel the secret is to never go by fad and trends. Do what you believe in. I think I am old-fashioned in that sense. I love doing yoga,” she said.
To a query on when she would make an appearance on the big screen, the 42-year-old actress said: “Whenever I am willing to, but not right now. I am quite busy with my home and kids, my endorsements, events and everything. But the day I find a right script, maybe I will make up my mind, you never know.” Karisma made her comeback as an actress with a leading role in Vikram Bhatt’s supernatural thriller “Dangerous Ishhq” in 2012.
Kareena Kapoor is absolutely enjoying her pregnancy for the moment and is not too concerned about the kind of roles she will be offered post her maternity break. While it’s often seen how most heroine’s become choosy and pick roles often women oriented ones while returning to acting after delivering a baby, Kareena feels it’s perhaps too early to talk about her future and she prefers the ‘let’s see’ approach for the moment.
While actress Tara Sharma had in a recent interview with us revealed how she was not offered good roles post marriage and kids, Kareena while choosing not to comment on Tara’s statement declined to see Bollywood as enforcing stereotypes on married actresses. Said Kareena, “As far I am concerned I have been very lucky. It’s all about your attitude and the way you look at things. It is the way you approach things that really matters. I don’t look at Bollywood as it stereotypes. It’s the roles that come to me from which I will pick and choose the best that is offered to me.”
