Isn’t the actor a tad too old to star in a romantic role in the hit film’s sequel?
The 90s superhit film Dil, that actually saw the rise of Aamir Khan as a superstar, has been on the cards for a remake. The sequel of the Aamir-Madhuri Dixit starrer, which became one of the most romantic films of all time, has been delayed but apparently things are beginning to move once more, as per reports in the online portal Spotboye.
Producer Indra Kumar had once told a section of the media, “I will make Dil 2, but I can’t cast Aamir in the film because he can’t fit in that role now. Let’s see who can do justice to the role.”
Spotboye again reported that Indra has now decided to bring Aamir Khan on board in some way, in a special appearance or possibly even a big role, details of which are unknown as yet.
A source says in the report, “It won’t be a lead role, but a very important cameo. Aamir has been sounded off and he has not declined the offer.”
Wonder if the producers have thought of bringing the beautiful Madhuri Dixit on board too! That will be the unltimate reunion.
