Is Esha Gupta replacing Nargis Fakhri in Ajay Devgn’s 'Baadshaho'?

BDC News

Mumbai March 30, 2016: Ever since the announcement of ‘Baadshaho’, which sees actor Ajay Devgn and director Milan Luthria collaborate after ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’, the film has been in the news for the changes in the casting of the leading ladies. Initially, Shruti Haasan and Lisa Haydon were reported to have been signed on for the film.
However, the two actresses ceased being part of the film after there were reports of the characters undergoing changes as Milan reworked on the script. Later, speculations were rife that Kareena Kapoor Khan had been approached to play Ajay’s leading lady. Following the denial of the film’s makers, grapevine had it that Priyanka Chopra could step in. However, those rumours too went silent after Nargis Fakhri was reported to have been confirmed.
Now, buzz is that Esha Gupta is being finalised. An industry source tells us that too much back and forth has been happening on the casting of the women for the film. “As it is, Pulkit Samrat was first signed on to play the second lead, before he was replaced by Vidyut Jammwal,” a source points out.
