Sun, June 19, 2016: Rakul Preet Singh, Pragya Jaiswal, Nayanthara scored high on the style meter
The popular awards ceremony in the South, the Filmfare South Awards was graced by a number of beauties. We loved Rakul’s anarkali style lehenga and Pragya’s emerald gown. Here is a better look at the hotties…
Rakul Preet Singh
The beautiful Rakul Preet Singh wore a floor length kurta with a lehenga designed by Tarun Tahiliani. Since it was heavily embellished she opted for a braid and sparkling chandbalis. A pink lip finished her ensemble. We loved her mini clutch as well.
Pragya Jaiswal
Well known on the modelling circuit, Pragya won the Best Debut Female for her role in the Telugu period drama, Kanche. She looked resplendent in a green emerald gown with a plunging neckline. Emerald jewellery and side swept curls finished off her look.
Rashi Khanna
The tall actress wore a off shoulder Gauri and Nainika gown. Though the colour was bright the whole look was rather drab. We wish she had used a single statement jewellery piece to complement it.
Lavanya Tripathi
It was a retro glam look for Lavanya. Though we find it a tad messy overall, we would give her points for her bold choice. The wet curls gave her a wicked look.
Sayesha Saigal
The actress who will be seen in Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay attended the event in a black and gold gown. She kept her makeup to a minimum.
Anushka Shetty
We know her as Devasena from Baahubali. The actress came in a black saree with a blue top. Bright coral lip finished off her look. She looked nice.
Nayanthara
She looked dazzling with her golden curls falling down her sun-kissed face. Nayanthara was styled by Neeraja Kona. Her dress was from Mint Blush and jewellery by Suhani Pittie. A black dress and blue shoes but she nailed the look.
Ragini Dwivedi
Though the fitting of the gown was somewhat questionable, we quite liked the colour and embroidery. Neck up, she looked fantastic.
