Mumbai, October 30, 2016: The filmi world is full of dhoom and dhamaka. Whether it’s the crackling chemistry between the stars, the phatakas who set the screen on fire, or the wars of words and egos that shoot up like rockets and light a bonfire in the starry skies. The industry that churns out dreams has a cracker of moments too. Here’s taking a look at the fireworks that made a lot of noise, and some that just left some smoke behind.

Heard  someone sizzzzzzzzzzzzzzling in silent fury? No, that’s not the jumbo smoke bomb letting out colourful fumes, but perhaps Salman Khan. His silence is enough to wipe out the Roman candle like dhamaka of Arijit Singh’s apology on Facebook at angering Bhai and to retain his song in the film ‘Sultan’.

Gone are the days when  Prithviraj Kapoor roared in his booming voice and the pillars rattled in ‘Mughal-E-Azam’. These days the imaarat of the film industry rattles when titans of the film industry take on each other. Most recent being the war that broke out between Ajay Devgn and Karan Johar over Kamal R Khan. A chance of an explosion akin to an atom bomb, was doused.

Two cold wars in Bollywood reminds one of the Diwali chakras. The salvo by Twinkle over the veteran actor’s controversial comment on her late father, Rajesh Khanna and Ranveer’s rumoured unhappiness over Shahid Kapoor’s inclusion in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next is akin to the ground spinner’s moving in circles.

Getting Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan together for a film is being touted to be an impossible dream. And now, it seems to spill over in real life too. The equation between the three has gotten even more confusing, although they seem to have ironed their differences.

However, should they ever come together, the effect would be nothing less than a super-duper firework engulfing the sky – of the SFX kind with booming breaks and vivid colours. A cinematic Khan burst in the sky!

The Hrithik-Kangana controversy that spilled over many months caused a lot of fire, smoke and heartburn. While Kangana speaks her mind and lets out a string of ladees in spurts whenever needed, Hrithik is like no less a rocket, So when he shoots off, just like an akash tara , it not only raises its own trail of dhoom, but also provides a parachute for smooth landing.
