A report in Mumbai Mirror claims that Sandeep Toshniwal has reportedly split from his alleged girlfriend, Karisma Kapoor. The report claims that the reason for this is his struggle to stay out of public sight with the actress due to the pending family court orders. Karisma is estranged from her husband Sanjay Kapur while Toshniwal reportedly walked out of his marriage after meeting Karisma, the report further said.

Karisma Kapoor files dowry harassment case against Sanjay Kapur

It seems that the divorce battle between Karisma Kapoor and her estranged husband Sanjay Kapur is turning uglier by the day. After Sanjay claimed that the actress married him for money, the mother of two has now registered an FIR against him and his mother Rani Sunder Kapur at the Khar Police Station (Mumbai) alleging them of mental harassment, as reported by Mid-Day. Some time back, the estranged couple had withdrawn their consent to split and the petition of divorce on the grounds of mutual consent. The Delhi based businessman has also filed an application at the Supreme Court reportedly seeking a transfer of the case to New Delhi on the grounds of threat to his life from underworld don Ravi Pujara.

Sanjay files application to claim custody of kids living with Karisma Kapoor

Karisma Kapoor’s estranged husband, Sanjay Kapur, has filed a fresh application at the family court to claim the custody of their two kids – daughter Samiera and son Kiaan Raj Kapoor, as reported by Mid-Day.com. Sanjay’s lawyer also informed that his client had filed the same petition earlier but had withdrawn it after the couple filed for divorce. For the record, the estranged couple withdrew their consent to split and the petition of divorce on the grounds of mutual consent was disposed.

It is a known fact that Sunjay Kapur and Karisma Kapoor have parted ways and that Sunjay is reportedly seeing Priya Chatwal. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, rumours are rife that Sunjay may be backing off from the divorce, which is supposed to be on November 25. The report states that Kapur’s mother, Rani Kapur, who controls the family’s purse strings since his father’s demise last year, isn’t in favour of Sunjay’s new girlfriend Priya Chatwal. And apparently if there is no divorce, then Sunjay and Priya cannot remarry, nor can Karisma plan for a wedding with her alleged beau Sandeep Toshniwal.

The curvy actor and National Award winner couldn’t be happier as she threw a dinner party for her husband, film producer Siddharth Roy Kapur at a posh restaurant by the Gateway of India, reports Mumbaimirror.com. The small but elegant soiree saw a number of their close friends – very few from the industry though. However, the appearance of one couple did have the collective nudge-nudge-wink-wink from the crowd. The beauteous Karisma Kapoor, who has often denied being involved with businessman Sandeep Toshniwal, came with her beau in tow. Toshniwal and Roy Kapur are buddies from school, they both attended a Cuffe Parade institution as children. Karisma and he did make for a loved-up couple, and will be one officially, the report stated. Except that Toshniwal is currently in a maintenance battle with his with his wife, the report concluded.

According to a report on Bombay Times, actress Karisma Kapoor and her Delhi-based businessman husband, Sunjay Kapur, are not to end the year with closure of their decade-old marriage after all. The couple, who filed a mutual consent divorce petition in the city family court, disagreed on some issues at their final hearing a few days ago, the report said. The two were packed off by the judge to work out a settlement by February, the report further stated. The celebrity couple was present in court along with their lawyers before principal judge Laxmi Rao on what was meant to be their date to get the decree — just before Christmas and in time to bring in the New Year with, perhaps, new partners — but both failed to agree to the terms of a trust being set up for the welfare of their two minor children, a nine-year-old daughter and a much younger son, reports Bombay Times. Karisma wanted to have more say and control over the trust than she was getting and Sunjay was unwilling to let go of his control, the report stated. Karisma, who resides in Oberoi Crest in Khar, and Sunjay, a resident of Chankyapuri in Delhi, had converted the custody plea into a mutual consent divorce petition in June. All formalities over, they were in court to get the divorce, but left discontented instead, concludes the Bombay Times report.

The two watched their daughter perform at the famous choreographer’s dance show. The report further states that doting mother Karisma listened intently to her daughter while Sunjay seemed to take a keen interest in their chatter. Karisma’s divorce from Sunjay was reportedly finalized in June this year with Saif reportedly brokering peace between the two. The actress married Sunjay on September 29, 2003 and their marriage reportedly hit rock bottom after the birth of their daughter Samaira. 

The divorce of Sandeep Toshniwal, the new man in Karisma Kapoor’s life, is not coming through any time soon, reports Mumbai Mirror. Karisma, who married businessman Sunjay Kapur in 2003, is now going through a divorce. And even though she has managed to find love the second time in Sandeep Toshniwal, CEO of a pharmaceutical company, it seems fate is again set to play spoilsport, reads the report. Sandeep, who is married to Ashrita, a dentist by profession, and has two daughters with her, aged eight and five, has filed for a divorce. And rumours were doing the rounds that he is keen on tying the knot with Karisma as soon as their respective marriages are annulled, the report further states. Although Karisma’s divorce is on its way, it will not be easy for Sandeep to get out of his marriage as his wife has refused to sign the papers over alimony issues. “Karisma deserves some happiness now. Unfortunately, Sandeep’s divorce proceedings are stuck and showing no sign of ending,” the tabloid quoted a source close to Karisma.

Parents separated: Karisma Kapoor is one actress who was born in one of the biggest and most popular families in India, but didn’t have a bed of roses in life. The actress is very close to her father Randhir Kapoor. When Karisma was very young, her parents separated. However, according to reports, she took her father’s advice when it was about work. Though her parents never filed for divorce, they didn’t stay together. Karisma used to stay with her younger sister Kareena Kapoor and mother Babita. 

Break-up with Abhishek Bachchan: Karisma Kapoor dated Abhishek Bachchan for a few years and later the couple got engaged in 2002.
