The actor opens up
Aamir Khan feels a special joy about having a child (Azad) through IVF surrogacy and admitted that being a parent has changed his life for good.
The 51-year-old actor who was present at the launch of a fertility clinic in the city said, “There were no hurdles, we both wanted to have a child. We were happy when he was born. We wanted to be clear about how we conceived the child, we didn’t do anything wrong and people should be aware about it. We are very happy that we gave birth to a child through IVF surrogacy.”
In a bid to spread awareness about In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) and surrogacy, the ‘PK’ star also talked about how being a parent changed his life.
Aamir iterated, “When I had my first child, Junaid, it changed me, changed my life. But there are so many parents, people, so many single parents who are unable to have child.”
Aamir added, “It’s such a joy to have a child in your life. It’s something that really changes your life.”
Wife Kiran Rao who was also present at the event, looked overwhelmed and said that her “life is so full now” and added, “I am so humbled by the completeness he (Azad) makes me feel.”
For the uninitiated, Aamir is a father to three children-Junaid and Ira from his ex wife and a third child Azad from his current wife, Kiran.
Also seen at the event was Tusshar Kapoor, who has also fathered a son via surrogacy. Farah Khan and her triplets also attended the event.
