Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is allegedly UPSET with Ranveer

According to a report in BollywoodLife.com, Sanjay Leela Bhansali allegedly gave a narration to Hrithik Roshan recently to play the character of Alauddin Khilji, in his upcoming film Padmavati.
Previously, reports were doing the rounds that Ranveer Singh, who has acted with the director in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani, was being considered for the role.
The report quoted a source saying, “Ranveer made the grave mistake of asking Bhansali for a narration. The director feels that the actor owes him his success, and is not in the position to question his judgment. Like Shah Rukh Khan doesn’t ask for a narration from Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra, and Salman with Sooraj Barjatya, SLB felt that the actor should have come on board without hearing the script.”
Apparently, when Ranveer asked him for the script, Bhansali declined and began approaching other actors for the role. He allegedly went to Shah Rukh Khan, who apparently can’t give him the 200 days he wants for the shoot and then he allegedly gave a narration to Hrithik.
The source added, “Sanjay’s ego is hurt and he is just sulking. I am sure he will come around and make the film with Ranveer eventually.”
