Huma Qureshi Opens Up on Sohail Khan

Recently, Huma Qureshi was said to be the reason differences cropped up between Sohail Khan and wife Seema. Apparently, Sohail often showered Huma with expensive gifts and the actress was also spotted at various private gatherings at Salman Khan’s Panvel farmhouse. However, Seema had put these rumours to rest and stated that Huma was a good friend of Arpita and Salman and that’s why she visited the Khans. She added that Sohail and Huma never hung out with each other.

 

Even Huma took to Twitter to clear the air and wrote that Sohail is like a brother to her. In a recent interview the actress said, “What really hurts is that without knowing the truth about my life, they (media) go ahead and put these stories. And I’ll tell you why they do it; they do it because they want to take away all the attention from my hard work. They want to show that whatever I have achieved in my life is because of my closeness to a particular man, who may be coming from an influential family or is influential himself. That is disrespectful. It’s easy for people to say that she is doing well because she is close to someone. That is demeaning. I don’t see that happening to any of the industry kids, to be very honest.”
