The Chandni actress resurfaces after disappearing for ages…
Fans have been wanting to catch a glimpse of this ‘80s diva ever since her comeback in Gauri Shinde’s English Vinglish a few years back, but the reclusive star just disappeared from the radar completely, until recently when she was supposed to be honoured at the IIFA 2016 awards show in Madrid. While honour they did, with some fabulous performances by Sonakshi Sinha on Sridevi’s iconic songs, Sridevi herself was again nowhere to be seen.
However, Bollywood Life recently chanced upon this picture of Sridevi on Instagram. Sri is seen here posing with the cast and crew of her next film produced by Boney. This film went on floors earlier this year and marks the directorial debut of Ravi Udyawar. Along with Sridevi, it stars Sajal Ali, Akshaye Khanna, Adnan Siddiqui, and Abhimanyu Singh and also has a special appearance by Nawazuddin Siddique. Quite an exciting cast we think!
Wait a minute, we also see Sridevi’s elder daughter Jhanvi Kapoor in the frame! Does that mean she’s in the film too??
