While Zoya Akhtar apparently has Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt onboard for her two-hero film, it’s the second hero that the filmmaker has a problem finding, according to a report by SpotBoyE.
Apparently, Ranbir Kapoor had met Zoya at her Bandra home with Farhan Akhtar and Kiran Rao recently, where she discussed the project with him. But allegedly Ranbir eventually turned down the film. Apparently, he wasn’t keen on playing second fiddle to Ranveer.
Further, her second choice for the part, Varun Dhawan, has reportedly opted out of the film saying he doesn’t have dates. Seems like Ranveer’s contemporaries are too keen to share screen space with him, which puts Zoya in a tough spot!
