Mumbai, Aug 10 (IANS) Actress Diana Penty is proud of her Cocktail co-star Deepika Padukone, who is set to make her Hollywood debut in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.
Talking about Deepika’s growth as an actress, Diana told IANS: “It’s been superb. It’s absolutely great and she should pat herself on the back. I am proud of her. So yes, I definitely look up to her in terms of the kind of work she has been doing lately.”
Diana is also excited about her own film “Happy Bhag Jayegi”.
She said: “It was an instant yes. The minute I heard the script, I fell in love with it. It’s a unique storyline and I wanted to explore this even in terms of the character.”
Diana Penty was only in her second year at Mumbai’s St. Xavier’s College, when ace photographer and family friend Farokh Chotia shot her photographs on a whim.
