'My Mother is Not in Mumbai to Meet Neetu Kapoor': Katrina Kaif

The actress refutes rumours of a possible patch-up with her ex beau Ranbir Kapoor

 

Katrina Kaif amazed everyone recently when she revealed herself in a stunning shimmery white gown with some very sensuous cuts at a red carpet event. The actress radiated with positivity and happiness from within, as shutterbugs snapped and she obliged with her brightest smile. The actress was noticed to be opening up more to the media and refused to shy away from even personal questions.
“Yes, my mother is in Mumbai,” she confirmed, adding, “And no, she is not here to meet Neetu Kapoor,” in view of reports stating that Suzanne Turquotte, was in the city to patch things up with the Kapoors.
“Katrina’s mother flew in from Pondicherry to undergo an operation. She had been unwell for a while and Kat wanted to be by her side when the surgery took place. They are presently living in the sea-facing apartment Kat once shared with her former beau. Her mom will head back to Pondicherry in a few months,” a close friend of the actress informed Mumbai Mirror. 
“Neither she nor her family or friends have attempted to touch base with the Kapoors.” added the friend, saying that the Kapoor chapter is now closed.
The ex couple who shared a love nest together, split in January this year and ever since have been trying to avoid each other at all costs, except when necessary, like in honouring their commitment to their joint project Jagga Jasoos.
