‘Naachney gaane wali’: Ex-MP Minister calls Kangana Ranau

BDC News

Betul (Madhya Pradesh), Feb 19 Kangana Ranaut is hailed as the queen of Bollywood. The bold and beautiful is known to have carved her own path in an industry without any godfather. She is one of the most sought after actresses. However, she was recently called “naachney gaane wali” by a minister for her remarks against the farmers protest.

While some celebrities have extended their support to farmers, there are others who think that things are being blown out of proportion. Kangana has openly dissed foreign celebrities like Rihanna and Greta Thunberg among others in the same regard and now she is seemingly bearing the brunt of the same.

Former minister in the previous Kamal Nath government of Madhya Pradesh, Sukhdev Panse, called her “Naachney Gaane waali” after state Police reportedly physically assaulting the Congress workers for protest at her shoot location. Ranaut had reportedly been shooting for her forthcoming movie Dhaakad in Sarni in the Betul district. Police allegedly used force on the Congress leaders and also registered cases against them, as per IANS.

“The police should not act as a puppet of Kangana as governments keep changing. There should be a fair investigation of the police’s action against the Congress workers and no action should be taken against our party workers till the probe is complete,” Panse added.

The Congress has been supporting the farmers agitation against the three contentious central farm laws.
