Pooja speaks her mind
Since the time Salman Khan was named as the Goodwill Ambassador of India for the 2016 Rio Olympics there has been a huge debate on whether it was the right move to have selected the actor.
Salim Khan, Salman’s father took to Twitter, to defend the selection and made some harsh comments on Milkha Singh, after the sportsmam expressed his displeasure on the selection. Sr. Khan said, “Milkhaji it is not Bollywood it is the Indian Film Industry and that too the largest in the world” and “The same industry which resurrected you from fading away in oblivion.”
And now it looks like Pooja Bhatt has taken offense to Sr. Khan’s tweets! She wrote, “Whether the film Industry resurrected Milkha Singh or whether Milkha Singh resurrected the film industry is an absurdly, distasteful debate.”
She later added, “Could the film be made if Milkha Singh wasn’t the man he was & did not achieve what he did in the first place? We all know, NOT. Hence, respect.”
Even without taking any names Pooja seems to have made a strong statement!
