Following its theatrical run, Jr. NTR starrer Devara Part 1 will be available for audiences on Netflix. The OTT platform on Monday announced itself as the streaming partner. The RRR star is ready to roar and unleash his massiest avatar to date in his upcoming action drama.
Netflix India shared the poster of Devara Part 1 with a caption that read, “Devara strikes fear in the hearts of villains. Gear up for the ultimate hero. #Devara is coming soon on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi as a post theatrical release!”

Over a week ago, a stunning video footage was unveiled which begins by introducing seas, ships, and a world filled with bloodshed. Jr. NTR roars as Devara in a different and kickass avatar. The stunning glimpse introduces the grand scale of the film and Devara’s character. He is seen washing a D-shaped weapon with blood in the sea and revealing why it is called a “Red Sea” with a powerful dialogue in his roaring voice that offers the much-needed high. The dialogue loosely translates to – “This sea seems to have seen more blood than fish; hence, it is called the Red Sea.”
Janhvi Kapoor makes her Telugu debut as she is playing the female lead in the film. Saif Ali Khan plays the antagonist in the movie. Helmed by filmmaker Koratala Siva, the film will be released in two parts.
The film stars Prakash Raj, Srikanth Meka, Tom Shine Chacko, Narain, and many other notable actors. Devara is presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram while it is bankrolled under the banner of NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts. Mikkilineni Sudhakar and Hari Krishna K are the producers.
The music is scored by sensational composer Anirudh Ravichander. Sreekar Prasad is the editor of the project. Ratnavelu is handling the cinematography and production design will be handled by Sabu Cyril.
