Priyanka Chopra to Co-Host UN's Global Citizen Festival

Another feather in PC’s cap!
Priyanka Chopra is all set to participate in the Global Citizen Festival, a United Nations initiative, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror.
PC will co-host the fifth edition of the annual festival, a no ticket event, on September 24, in New York’s Central Park.
Accompanying her will be TV show host Chelsea Handler, actors Hugh Jackman with wife Deborra-Lee, Neil Patrick Harris, Salma Hayek Pinault and comedian Seth Meyers.
PC was quoted saying, “I’m looking forward to cohosting the even. It’s a first and that too with such an amazing group of talent.”
Furthermore, reportedly there are plans to bring the initiative to India in November.
PC added, “The spirit of the Global Citizen Festival is dear to me. I’ve been given many opportunities to travel through my work, and now, I see the world as an interconnected force. This festival is an incredible example of looking across borders and working together for the greater good.”
She added, “This year’s focus is women and girls, which is a prevalent topic in our society. I hope lending my voice to this event can help bring about a positive impact.”
