Priyanka Chopra Remembers Her Fan Girl Moment With Miss Universe Sushmita Sen

Hollywood star Priyanka Chopra wasn’t always a global star. She started out as a model a long time ago, with a lanky frame and an awkward gait. Little did anyone know then that her journey would be so stupendous and that she would rise all the way to the top. Here’s a throwback picture of the young Pee Cee totally star struck by the gorgeous Sushmita Sen, who was already Miss Universe by then.

 

This pic has been doing the rounds on social media and Pee Cee also happened to see it.  When Priyanka came across it, she decided to post about the nostalgic moment saying, “17 yr old me.. @thesushmitasen came to talk to the Miss India contestants! #starstruck thank u for the pic” Sushmita Sen too replied to the same saying, “Years have passed n yet dat smile beams on how proud that little 17yr old @priyankachopra continues 2 make us”. 

 

Sushmita Sen was crowned Miss Universe in the year 1994, while Priyanka Chopra was crowned Miss World in the year 2000.
