Mumbai, Feb 19 (IANS) Fimmaker Rajkumar Hindusthani, who is gearing up for the release of “Darling Don’t Cheat”, says the quality of films nowadays has deteriorated in terms of offering sensual content.
“The quality of films nowadays has deteriorated so drastically in terms of offering sensual content. The makers are just scared about the censors and are restricted by the probable cuts or beeps that their film could get. Even the so-called sex comedies were not sufficient in terms of the needs of viewers,” Hindusthani told IANS.
“Darling Don’t Cheat” was embroiled in controversy for its bold scenes.
The film was recently in the news due to protests in certain parts of the country, demanding a ban on the film. The protestors were offended by the sensational trailer of the film which consisted of cuss words, stripping scenes, nude scenes and even physical violence.
“Our sole objective with this film is to offer high-quality erotic content, while also ensuring that it is not cheap,” he added.
