Mumbai, Feb 27 (IANS): Coming out of his “Aligarh” mould, Rajkummar Rao has embarked on a new cinematic journey to bring alive “Newton” on the silver screen. He will be shooting in an area with “almost no network”.
The actor, who found fame with critically-acclaimed films like “Shahid”, “Citylights” and “Queen”, is earning accolades for portraying a journalist in Hansal Mehta’s reality drama.
Amid all the appreciation, Rajkummar says it’s time to go incognito and will be shooting in a no-network area for black comedy “Newton”, which is directed by Amit Masurkar.
“In the midst of all the happy times with #Aligarh. I’m out for a month now. A new journey awaits with almost no network. Shooting time. Let’s meet #Newton,” Rajkummar tweeted.
In “Aligarh”, his character picks up the pen to narrate the story of late Aligarh Muslim University academician Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras, who was suspended from his job as a professor because of his sexual orientation.

Rannvijay Singha dines with Bhutan PM
Actor Rannvijay Singha is glad to have had a chance to dine with Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, and described him as a “very nice and humble man”.
The actor, who has featured in TV shows like “MTV Splitsvilla 8” and “Pukaar – Call For The Hero” and films like “Mod”, “Action Replay” and “London Dreams”, is in Bhutan to shoot “MTV Roadies X4′.

As her debut film “Dum Laga Ke Haisha” turned one on Saturday, actress Bhumi Pednekar said the film will always remain special to her.
“Omg it’s been a year since my life changed #1yrOfDumLagaKeHaisha. Always special,” Bhumi tweeted.
With a message that ‘Love comes in all sizes’, the movie introduced Bhumi, who was previously part of Yash Raj Films’s casting division, to the world of showbiz. She was paired with Ayushmann Khurrana in the film, which narrated the journey of a couple who get married under family pressure and shows how they move on from finding faults in physical appearances and find love.
The onscreen duo will again be seen together in “Manmarziyan”. They have started shooting for the film.
