Mumbai, March 4 Bollywood and Tollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh who is also the brand ambassador for Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao program shared her views on the Women’s Day celebration. The actress expressed that she doesn’t believe in Women’s Day, for her every single day is a Women’s Day.

Rakul Preet Singh was interacting with the media on Tuesday in Mumbai at the sidelines of the 8th Edition of Cheryl’s Femina Ms. Stylista West 2020.

When asked any message she wants to convey on Women’s Day coming on 8th March, on this Rakul said, “I don’t believe in Women’s Day. According to me, when we don’t celebrate Men’s Day, so why should we celebrate Women’s Day on just one day. We should celebrate women in our life every single day. Respecting women is the most important factor.  And I think being a woman, this is the exact way of celebrating Women’s Day every day.”

Sharing her memories about the festival Holi and also the plans, Rakul said, “I am working on Holi. When I was a kid, I used to play Holi very mischievously. I think when I was in 9th or 10th std, I stopped playing Holi. Because I got aware that while playing this festival there is water wastage and even the environment gets damaged. So, our Holi used to be the dry one and then later we celebrated the festival having dinner with family and friends. I was even fond of eating gujiya (sweet dish). But now, neither we can play Holi or eat gujiya. So, I prefer working on a festival.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in the. The movie is an action thriller film written-directed by Lakshya Raj Anand and produced by Dheeraj Wadhawan, Ajay Kapoor and John Abraham. It also features John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles. The story of the film is about the hostage crisis and is inspired by true events. The film is scheduled for theatrical release in India on 14 August 2020,
