Ranveer Singh still shares a warm equation with Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Mumbai, September 23, 2016: The past couple of months have had a lot of reports stating that all was not well between Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ranveer Singh. It all started when Bhansali announced that he would be casting Shahid Kapoor in his forthcoming film ‘Padmavati’, which stars Ranveer and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. Several unconfirmed reports said that Ranveer was allegedly insecure about sharing screen space with Shahid and wanted to take a look at the script — a request that Bhansali didn’t take to very kindly.
The two, however, seem to have sorted out their differences and all seems well again. Having worked together in two hugely successful films over the years — ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’, Bhansali and Ranveer are known to be on great terms with each other, which is why news of their falling out came as a surprise to many.
It is said that once Ranveer signed up for ‘Padmavati, the director and his favourite actor celebrated with some delicious home-cooked Sindhi food that was prepared at Ranveer’s house. Speaking to a daily, a source said, “Since the two share such a great equation off-screen, they can’t wait to start work on the movie and given their camaraderie and chemistry, translate it into cinematic magic. Ranveer is excited about the role and is prepping for it in full swing.”
