Along with “White Feather Creations” and the “India International Film Festival of Boston” I (Sheeba Mashkoor) proudly announce that Razia Mashkoor, also known as ‘Aapa’ & ‘Bajjo’ for us, has been awarded the Sarojini Naidu Award 2025, one of India’s most distinguished honors celebrating women of excellence, leadership, and social impact.

This highly respected award recognizes Razia Mashkoor’s exceptional dedication, vision, and long-standing commitment to building a meaningful cultural and social bridge for independent filmmakers from India and across the world. Through her leadership, IIFFB has grown into a global platform that champions artistic voices, fosters cultural understanding, and uplifts diverse cinematic narratives.

For years, Bajjo has worked tirelessly to create opportunities for emerging filmmakers, support women centric stories, and promote cross-border collaborations. Her initiatives have helped independent films reach international audiences, strengthening cultural exchange between India, South Asia, and the global artistic community.

Speaking on the honor, she shared her gratitude:
