A string of successful Hindi films behind him as a dialogue coach, Prakash Bharadwaj, who made 2018 Bengali film Colours of Life starring Rituparna Sengupta and Kaushik Sen, is now helping newcomers Namashi Chakraborty and Amrin perfect their diction for Bad Boy. This Rajkumar Santoshi film has had a recent shooting schedule in Bangalore where Prakash was present. “It was great working with Mithun Chakaraborty’s son Namashi and producer Sajid Qureshi’s daughter Amrin. They are very promising and have the potential of becoming the next superstars,” Prakash said, adding, “It’s also a good learning experience to work with a veteran director like Santoshiji. I got to learn new dimensions of direction from him.” Prakash, who is a regular as a dialogue coach in every Aamir Khan film, is also on the lookout for casting for his next directorial. He has earlier helped actors deliver dialogues in the right pitch and with correct pronunciations in films like Rang De Basanti, Thugs Of Hindostan, Love Aaj Kal, Talaash, Kurbaan, among others. “I am in talks with a few A-listers, both actors and production houses, in Bollywood. Things are moving in a positive direction. I’m eager to direct another film,” he said, adding, “My partner, Rajessh Singh, is already producing a Bengali film with Rituparna Sengupta. I am a little tied up with Hindi projects now. In future, of course I would love to direct Bengali films and work with Bengali actors because they are outstanding in their work.”
