Sanjay Dutt’s eldest daughter Trishala, who is based out of New York, is more than excited for her father (whom she calls her lion). She took to Twitter to share her happiness ahead of her father’s release.Counting days, she tweeted, “SO excited for dad to come home!!! It’s almost time!!! :D.”
Trishala is Sanjay’s daughter from his first wife Richa Sharma, who had died of brain tumour in 1996. Trishala now runs her business of hair and nail extensions in New York. She had come to India for a while before Sanjay Dutt was sentenced to jail. Ever since, she has been living in the US, reported an article in Indian Express.
Sanjay Dutt will finally be a free man on February 26 after serving his jail term of 42 months, as a part of his five-year sentence after being convicted in the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts case. The 56-year-old actor, on whom huge investments were riding when he was convicted by the special TADA court in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case, will be carrying with him INR 440 he earned during his jail stay.
