Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt were spotted at Mehboob Studios yesterday kicking off the promotions for their upcoming film, Dear Zindagi. There were many stars who were seen at the studios yesterday and coincidentally, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati has begun their filming in the same studio! According to a BollywoodLife.com report, SRK and Alia decided to pay the set a visit to surprise the director since he was close to the location. According to the report, a source said, “Bhansali sir was happy to see SRK visiting Padmavati’s sets. Both have known each other well and their association goes back a long way. They spent chatting for close to half an hour and later Sanjay sir also showed SRK and Alia the magnificent sets erected for the shoot.” The source went on to say, “SRK also met and interacted with Deepika who was only too happy to see her Chennai Express co-star on the sets of her film.”
There were rumours a while back that the Ram-Leela director had actually approached Shah Rukh to play the role of Raja Raval Ratan Singh, which eventually went to Shahid Kapoor.
