New York, July 18 It has been nearly eight years since she was seen in a leading role in films and actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra says she is hopeful to make her comeback in movies “soon”.
The “Life… In a Metro” actress, who was last seen in a song in “Dostana”, said she is currently reading scripts and will consider roles which will be worthwhile.

When asked about her comeback, Shilpa told reporters, “When was I gone? I am doing TV, brand endorsements… Don’t know about the films but I’ve just done a single with Bhushan Kumar which will release in three days. Out of the five scripts which came to me, I read three and I didn’t like them. I hope I like the rest two…
“It should be worthwhile, to leave the house going for work, to leave my baby. I really want to make a movie, very soon. Lets hope there is somebody out there who gives me a role enticing enough”.
Shilpa was speaking at the launch of her book “The Great Indian Diet”, co-authored with nutritionist Luke Coutinho.
The 40-year-old actress married businessman Raj Kundra in 2009 and was seen in “Apne” in 2007, which marked her last leading role.
