Sidharth Malhotra’s rumoured girlfriend comes to his rescue!
Rumours are currently rife about Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra’s break-up. While Alia is busy with her film promotions, Sidharth was reported to have flown off to Miami to ‘clear his head’ way before his next shooting schedule. While rumourmongers didn’t spare the chance to link Sidharth with his Baar Baar Dekho co-star Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt with Varun Dhawan, but what actually caught our attention was the news of Sid doing on a dinner date with some mystery girl. But before we could speculate any further, alleged girlfriend Alia took it upon herself to clear the air and put the rumours to rest.
In an article in Bollywood Life, Alia was quoted from her interview with a leading daily during her film promotions where she said, “I haven’t fought with Sid. I don’t have any reason to fight with him. He’ll always be a very close friend. I also asked him casually about his dinner with a ‘mystery girl’ and he said, “I didn’t go for one.” He has been working non-stop. I’ve known him for the longest time now. We started off together and, of late, we have been spending a lot of time together. I have developed a huge fondness for him, and he’ll always be an important part of my life.”
