Siddharth Roy Kapur not on social media

Mumbai, April 23 (IANS) Siddharth Roy Kapur, who is managing director of Disney India and is married to actress Vidya Balan, is not available on any social media platform.
Siddharth was said to be getting messages from friends and associates over the last few days telling him that they have received friend requests from his accounts on Facebook and LinkedIn.
He is not available on any social media platform and any communication in his name from these fake accounts should be disregarded completely, read a statement from his company.
Siddharth backed films like “Chennai Express”, “Barfi!” and “Haider” under his banner.
While checking his fake accounts, his team discovered that there are at least three fake profiles in his name on Facebook and two on LinkedIn. They have reported this to the respective platforms and requested them to take immediate action by deactivating these fake accounts.
His team is also in the process of alerting the cyber-crime cell to take the necessary action.
