Sidharth Malhotra’s mom approves of Alia Bhatt

Mumbai, April 7, 2016: Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt have been in the denial mode forever now and have preferred to go the “close friends” way, but rumours of the two going strong are at an all time high, especially post the success of their last release where the two set the screen ablaze with their sizzling chemistry. While the two have always dodged questions around their “close friendship,” Sidharth has finally opened up (however little) about it. In an interview with Filmfare, the actor revealed that it’s not just him, but his mother too is very fond of Alia. He said, “She (Sidharth’s mom) finds her cute and endearing and loves her performances. She always says what a good actress she is. They have met during Student of the Year and then during the screening of Hasee Toh Phasee. Alia has come for all my movie screenings and so have my parents. Alia has also visited my house in Delhi.” Well, now that Alia has got the green signal from Sid’s mom, we wonder if the two will come out in the open. Guess, we’ll have to wait and watch.
