'Sunjay Left Me To Take Care of Our Sick Son And Went to Play Polo With Prince William': Karisma Kapoor

Former Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor and husband Sunjay Kapur’s marriage and thereafter divorce tussle has gone from bad to worse. After Sunjay accused her for marrying him for money, Lolo shot out at her husband that he only married her because she was a famous star! Karisma initially refused to grant divorce as she was allegedly unhappy with the settlement, that’s when her husband accused the actress’s family of marrying her off only for the money. 

 

Retaiiating to the accusation the actress hs now filed a domestic violenece suit against her husband and her mother-in-law. In the plea, the actress sated that Sanjay once went off to play polo while their son was very ill. “(Sunjay) decided to carry on leaving me behind to take care of our sick four-month-old son just to play a Polo match with Prince William,” the former Bollywood actress stated in her application.

 

Moreover, Karisma also made some allegations against Sunjay’s mother, her mother-in-law, stating she had always been in favour of his “philandering lifestyle”.

 

Interestingly, the actress also suggested that her industrialist husband only married her because she was a famous star! “I also realized that he had married me only as I was a famous and successful film star which would facilitate him to be reported in the press. It came as a surprise that he always wanted to be known in public and be famous, but since he never did any deed worth mentioning, he was not able to garner any attention,” added Karisma.

 

The couple who are locked in a divorce battle tied the knot in 2003 and have two children.
