Tanu Weds Manu – Part 2

Just came back from Apple Cinema from Cambridge, MA. We went to see Piku then changed our mind and bought tickets of “Tanu Weds Manu -2”. We sat to watch the movie. I wasn’t happy with the seats because it was first row next to big screen. Yes, of course!! I could not throw coins on the awesome performance of lovely Kangana Ranaut. The girl of National award winner for Queen once again proved herself. In her both role she did great. I was pleasantly surprise to see her performance closed to real life drama. She is always amazing.
The marital life have some issues but only Kangana could put her husband on fire. Oops!! I meant in mental hospital.
Madhavan was also impressive as usual. He is a more innocent husband then in “TWM Part 1”. However I would appreciate the performance of Deepak Dobriyal. He creates more dramatic fun than others with his English. Jimmy Shergill, was OK. Somehow he could not impress me as he did in “Tanu Weds Manu Part 1”. Music is good, songs are OK except “Ghani Bawri hugee”. Over all the weight of the film is on Kangana’s shoulders and she carried it beautifully.
The other things of this movie is the dresses of the leading lady. Beautiful Panjabi/Patiyala Shalwar qameez is back in the market. Ladies you need to check your wardrobe.
After Queen’s success she’s enjoying another success, I am sure she must be busy in selecting movies list that she had been offered.
I would not be surprised if she is considering a yester years tragedy queen Meena Kumari. The film will be an adaptation of Vinod Mehta’s book — Meena Kumari: The Classic Biography.
Kangana is currently caught up with the shoot of Katti Batti which is being directed by Nikhil Advani
