To bring up a child requires a lot of patience, free time, and sacrifice, and they perhaps felt that they were not ready for it.

Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu
Legendary Bollywood couple, Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu does not have children. Saira Banu is 22 years younger to her husband and expresses no regret for not having kids. She feels taking care of her husband is like nurturing 10 kids. They have been married since 1966 and theirs is a perfect example of a long lasting marriage. Although their relationship has seen some tough times, they have lasted through it and shown their love for each other by remaining together.

Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar
Eminent Bollywood scriptwriter Javed Akhtar and his wife Shabana Azmi who is a social activist and famous actress do not have children. Javed has two children Farhan and Zoya from his previous marriage with Honey Irani. According to them, their strong friendship is one of the important reasons for their successful marriage. They have been married for the past 28 years and despite not having children, they do not experience any emptiness or vacuum in their marriage. The two of them have a lot of love, respec,t and admiration for each other.

Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher
One of Bollywood’s most versatile and respected actors Anupam Kher and his gorgeous wife Kiron Kher are very successful in their respective fields and have been married since 1985. They decided to tie the knot and got married. Kirron has a son from her first marriage. This couple wanted a child but was unable to get a child even after seeking medical help.

Late veteran actress Meena Kumari married Kamal Amrohi after she fell in love with him on the sets of a film. Kamal Amrohi was fifteen years older than her. He was an actor and director by profession. He already had children from his first marriage and did not want children with Meena Kumari. Meena Kumari never had children of her own all throughout her life.

Yes that is true! Kareena claims that she and Saif are not the typical Indian couple who get married to have children, they are modern. Saif already has two children from his earlier marriage. Kareena’s age is 32 and according to her, they might even decide to not have kids. This one comes as a surprise to many people. Theirs was a much-hyped marriage which received a lot of media attention.
Sometimes, due to medical reasons and personal choices, couples end up not having kids. It is great to have children, but sometimes it is just not possible.
