Mumbai, May 26 (IANS) Jitendra Tiwari and P.Singh’s religious-political drama, Shorgul, released its first official trailer today. The movie, produced by Swatantra Vijay Singh from the production house 24 FPS Films Productions, releases on June 24.
Set in the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh, Shorgul gives the audience a full blown picture of various corrupt politicos and religious scams that have made headlines in our country.
Also the film will bring to focus few real time incidents from recent past such as Muzzafarnagar, Godhra, Babri Masjid riots along with references to ministerial misdoings, high profile political games in the nation. Further it adds in the concept of love getting pulverised in the hands of religious ego.
The main cast are no big stars but have done justice to their roles by giving a promising act to make the public think and act against power vested in few that is changing fate of the nation.
Shorgul stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Ashutosh Rana, Sanjay Suri, Narendra Jha, Hiten Tejwani, Eijaz Khan, Suha Gezen, Anirudh Dave and Deepraj Rana.
