Trump hasn't asked Kanye West to perform

BDC News

Washington, Jan 17 (IANS) Putting to rest the rumors about rapper Kanye West performing at the inaugural ceremony on January 20 for US President-elect Donal Trump, Tom Barrack said that West won’t be putting up a show.
The speculations rose after a high profile meeting between West and Trump.
According to cnn.com, Barrack, Trump’s longtime friend and the chair of his Presidential Inaugural Committee, said the team had not asked West to perform. He said: “We haven’t asked him. He considers himself a friend of the President-elect… The venue we have for entertainment is filled out, it’s perfect, it’s going to be typically and traditionally American, and Kanye is a great guy but we just haven’t asked him to perform.”
