Why is Salman Khan Challenging to Shut Down Comedy Nights Bachao?

Salman Khan has been going all out for the promotions of his latest home production Hero starring Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi in the lead roles. As part of the film’s promotion, Bhai also took his lead pair on the sets of the brand new comedy show Comedy Nights Bachao.

 

But, we’re not sure what Bhai’s real intentions were as he apparently challenged the new show and left the comedians shivering! As reported in an article in mid-day.com, Salman apparently said to the stand-up comics even before they began shooting for the show, “Let’s see if this show continues beyond two episodes or I have to shut it down!” We’re not really sure what brought about that comment from Salman but the comedians Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh, Karan Wahi and Sudesh Lehri — said that people in Pakistan were happy when Salman went to reunite the little girl with her parents there in Bajrangi Bhaijaan because he did it so peacefully, unlike Sunny Deol’s Gadar act which saw him ripping out hand pumps, hitting people and creating havoc for a reunion with his wife and son!

 

A source quoted in the article says that Salman apparently remarked with a smile, “Even if I don’t shut the show down, I am sure Sunny Deol will.” 

We’re still not sure what Bhai’s whole point was behind the comment, but apparently it was all in good humour!
