Mumbai, Dec 7 (IANS) Team Raees came out in strong support of Pakistani actor Mahira Khan and said if need be, the actor would be invited to India to promote Raees as there is no governmental restriction on Pakistani actors to enter India. Speaking about the same, producer of Raees, Ritesh Sidhwani said, “I think when we start promotions and if we find it necessary to involve her, we will bring her here. I don’t think there will be any restriction for her from the government or issuing visa to her will be a problem. We will decide about her involvement.”
SRK, on his part, agreed with Ritesh on Mahira’s case and chose not to comment anything further. When asked about his experience of working with Mahira, SRK termed it as ‘very good.’

Raees and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil had landed themselves in trouble after the Raj Thackeray-led MNS called for a ban of all films featuring Pakistani actors post the Uri attack. Karan Johar faced maximum heat as the filmmaker ran from pillar to post while trying to ensure the quick release of his film. After multiple negotiations, MNS finally relented after a close door meeting between the warring parties with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis playing the peacemaker.
