Mumbai April 1, 2016: Today as the Indian cricket team battles it out against New Zealand at the T20 World Cup, our ladies too are bringing their game on in a match opposite Bangladesh for the T20 Women’s World Cup!
It truly is a special day in the country as the ‘Ki & Ka’ matches celebrate the coming-of-age concept of women in professional sporting tournaments, as millions of cricket aficionados, will remain glued to the television set, for India’s most loved
game.

A total of 58 tournament matches, including 35 ‘Ka’ matches and 23 ‘Ki’ matches, will be played in the 27-day tournament in over eight venues .
Ironically the ‘Ki & Ka’ matches today will coincide and the finals too will be played on the same day ,making it the perfect time to celebrate a fun, quirky romantic film directed by RBalki starring Kareena Kapoor Khan & Arjun Kapoor.

Says RBalki, ” What a coincidence …what a celebration…’Ki & Ka’ is about the fact that genders don’t matter. For the longest time even our sports had certain genders attached to them and cricket was never seen as a girl’s sport. Today we celebrate
a step in abolishing those stereo types.
