Mumbai, April 15 (IANS) Lom Harsh, the director of upcoming drama, ‘Yeh Hai India’, is deeply saddened by the death of renowned lady biker Veenu Paliwal, who has acted in his film.
“I’m shocked hearing about the demise of Veenu ma’am. The tributes that have been pouring in for her, are a testament to the greatness she had achieved in her life.
“I had always heard so much about her, and immensely respected her and that’s why I tried to get her on board for my film by hook or by crook. It was an honour for me and my film, that she agreed to do my film, but life is so unpredictable that she couldn’t see herself in the film,” Harsh said.
Veenu had worked in the title track of the film as a biker. As part of the film, which goes along the lines of patriotism, she was provided with helmets with ‘Yeh Hai India’ and the Indian tricolour painted on it.
Veenu passed away after her bike skid off a road near Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. ‘Yeh Hai India’, also starring Deana Uppal, Mohan Agashe, Mohan Joshi among others, has been produced by Sandeep Choudhary under the banner of DLB Films Pvt. Ltd.
